David Griffin has more than 20 years experience working in high end architecture and interior design in the New York Area. He graduated in 1995 with a professional degree in architecture from Carleton University in Canada. He has lived and worked in Toronto, Canada, Boston and New York City.
He worked four years as senior designer for the famed interior designer Naomi Leff in New York before her passing in 2005. After Naomi Leff, he was employed by the design office of Pembrooke and Ives/Andrew Sheinman. There he collaborated on a number of high-end houses, interiors and apartment/penthouse renovations in New York City, the Hamptons and Florida.
His own design practice David Griffin Interiors+Design (DGi+d), established in 2009, is an architectural and interior design office. His interiors and architecture explore a purity of design concept and strong design vision. Through his professional work he strives for a greater understanding of architectural history, as well as its possible influences on contemporary design.
